    Facebook pages are very important in modern time. It can get more traffic to the websites. Some other social sites are pinterest, twitter and Google+. These all are very important in SEO.

    Facebook is the most popular; Google plus follow in second grade!
    But as my own experiences shown, the most active social network is LinkedIn! As it does not contain chat, games, etc... users really pay attention to the feed content!

    It's no doubt Facebook. It's the most popular social media website the world has ever known, although it has recently turned into mobile site in order to accommodate more users who cannot afford using laptops to access the website. Twitter is trying too but Facebook is definitely more popular and widely used.

    If you mean by social website is social media, I guess it is Facebook hands down which is the most popular because it is the number 3 in Alexa rank. That means Facebook is the 3rd website with the most number of traffic in a day. In terms of users, it has more than 2 billion users while Twitter which is next to Facebook has only less than half a billion users. With those numbers, it is clearly Facebook which is on top of all social media networks.
