    Like WordPress, you can use tumblr for blogging! It includes a lot of social networking features plus post type that are not included in WordPress or Blogger!

    I did not even realize that Tumblr was for blogging as well. I just assumed it was the social site and that was all.

    Tumblr has a lot of really fun features you can't get on Blogger and it's easier than using Wordpress. The Tumblr site has the advantage of a built in social network of willing fans who read and share your content.

    Tumblr is super easy to use, especially designed for the social user or beginner and lots of good SEO benefit not to mention the amazingly supportive Tumblr community. They not only share the content, but often will add to what you've already done via comment section.

    I think Wordpress is best but next alternative is blogger and other alternative is blog.com tumblr.com and many more.
    My suggestion: if you know how to work on wordpress don't leave it.

    Wordpress and blogspot are two widely used free blogging platforms. There are other blogging platforms like wordpress and blogspot. You can try any of these
    weebly
    wix
    simplesite
    etc.
    You can use these sites to blog free, however, by paying certain fees, you can also use a custom domain on these platforms.

    I guess you just have to choose between Wordpress and Blogger because those 2 blogging platforms are the best in town and the most tested. When I was writing as a co-blogger, our blog was in Blogger which is not easy to tweak the design. They say that Wordpress is tops when it comes to ease of use although you have to take time to understand the full operation at first. With Blogger, you can dive instantly and create your first blog.
