Hi, My chosen keywords are on the med to high side according to Google. It it going to be a long haul to get traffic to my site?

Yes, working on high competition keywords is very hard, maybe you can rank them but the traffic you got from them is very low

try to chose low competition keywords and rank them for better traffic + Easy ranking !

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Normally, I avoid using high competition keywords. If you have high competition keywords, it is difficult to rank high because there are already numerous valuable contents on that keywords. I always try to use moderately search keywords, which increases the chances of ranking high.
