Isn’t Google looking at the content with priority ever since? I wonder what this talk about Panda again that has something to do with the content. If I were uploading good contents on my since 5 years ago do you mean to say that my site’s ranking in Google will increase now than before assuming that my contents are equally good? What I'm wondering is, how can you do SEO on a forum? Ie the keywords and such?

Just incorporate your keywords into post title and you will rank for those pages, assuming you get some high quality backlinks and there is not too much competition. There are a few other things you can do for forum SEO, but that's a good start.

Definitely, Google loves unique content. Let's say, you have a duplicate content on your website and Google sees it, they won't rank you - instead they will find the origin of the content and give the credit to the person who created it.

What if someone copied from your site and Google thought the other way? What do you need to do for Google to know that you are the original owner?

Content is king in terms of SEO and traffic. How would a website move when there is no content or there is no new content? In my view, the content is the backbone of the website. Whether it is a blog, forum or business website, the content is needed and new content is preferred when it comes to the ranking in SEO and also with the readers. What is the reason for blog readers to come back? All because of the new content that was to be uploaded regularly. So when there is no new content, the king is not around anymore
