    Publish highest quality content on page; tweak meta data and get credible, high page rank backlinks (do follow if possible) pointing at your various pages and posts. Don't just link to home page as that looks very unnatural.

    First you need to focus on OFF Page optimization process like Forum,Article,Guest Blog,PR with high quality contents and high page rank also...Then concentrate more on social networking sites...Once you get more back links to your website, Automatically your website ranking position will move to front in SERP Results...


    All these ideas will work so long as the place you post the link is relevant to the niche of the site you are linking to.

    Many people here already gave some great answers How to get a website on the first page of Google , but this is my story to share with you!

    How to get a website on the first page of Google is not easy, but also not difficult. It takes a lot of patience and some simple but strategic steps. You need good content for your website or blog and make a plan to create high quality 'do-follow" backlinks to your website or blog. I am very honest...right now I have no website or blog on the first page of Google, but I am in my process with my website to get it ranked on the first page. And I know for sure, that this year, I will get my website ranked on the first page of Google with the keywords I have done research for. You can keep it simple and create a website with 4 pages and use 5 keywords. One Primair Keyword (PKW) and 4 Secondary Keywords (SKW). So you have like 5 pages. One main page (Home) and 4 other pages or categorize! On every page you create 5 unique articles, so that is: 5 x 5 = 25 unique articles! On your main page you have your (PKW) and on your other page/categorize you have your (SKW).

    This is a short info how to create a good looking website for the Google-Bot and, what the best way is to build up your website t o have chance to enter the gate of Google Page #1.

    There is actually no assurance of how to get on the first page of the Google search list. But my take is to follow the time tested methods of SEO specialists. First is the use of keywords in your content so that when someone does a search of your niche or a subject that is related to your niche, your website has a chance to be selected for the search list. Next is the contents. Upload fresh and unique contents frequently. Unique means you don’t copy the contents from another website.
