    Reading the comments above give me the impression that posting on a do-follow site is a big advantage for the site regarding search engine capability and direct traffic. However, I have noted in one comment about being penalized when the site where you posted had violated a rule. In that case does that mean that posting on a do-follow poses a lot of risk to the site?
