    It is like this: You have sites A, B, C, D and E. Site A links to site B, site B links to site C, site C links to site D, site D links to site E and site E links to site A.

    That is a very simplified link wheel.

    Link wheels can be very effective, especially if you have a second (or third) tier of backlinks linking back to sites closer to your money site.

    Link Wheel is one of the best standard technique in Off-page SEO..By this we can increase our website traffic along with good backlinks..Link Wheel should be done through Web 2.0 sites or article submission sites.
    The Link Wheel process is create an inner link between the sites. For example if you have a A, B, C, D and E web 2.0 sites you can give an link in A to B to C to D to E to A..First you have do some post in A put a hyperlink to keyword, which is related to B site name and again do some post in B put a hyperlink to keyword, which is related to C like this upto A then it forms Link Wheel...

    A link wheel is the process of creating 12 or so (or sometimes up to 116) new blogs/microsites on a particular topic. On each of those sites, you write 200 words of unique content, and include 1 link to your targeted site, and 1 link to one of your other blogs/microsites.

    This is the simple example of the link wheel your site is linked to various web 2.0 properties and all the sites are interlinked to each other along with it it is interlinked to main domain as well I think you will get a better idea for this

    Link wheel is very mush important in today's cinario. If you have 3 sites, then you can give link from 1 site to 2nd site, then 2nd to 3rd. In this way if you can give any link it will index all three sites.

    This could be good for a very simple link wheel. Though some more complex link wheels don't have every site pointing back at the money site.
