    Verify the website in your Google webmaster account!
    Go Search queries -> Search queries - Shows the keywords and the average position of the website.
    For Ex: If average position shows 80... Your website may be in -80/+80...

    Why do you use WMT to check your rank, not counting that you can't.
    As we all know G keep thing as vague as possible.

    If you are talking about the PR then this may checked by using any of SEO tool. Like: SEO Quake, webrank tolbar etc.
    But if you wants to talk about the keyword rank then checking of keyword rank manually is best.

    Check rank on Google it shows number of page with number of position . Webmaster tool tells and describe about site error and reduce error not ranking.
