2 Stragegy's, which one is best?

I would like to know what are the pro's and negatives on both stragegy's

Stragegy 1
Having 6 different websites that have a urlname like this:
1. Company name.com
2. Company name subject1.com
3. Company name subject2.com
4. Company name subject3.com
5. Company name subject4.com
6. Company name subject5.com

The main website is a big blog page. Two other websites are small blog pages and 3 websites are for business.
The layout is the same on all sites.
On the main website is a menu that links to all other websites.
On the other websites, there are only links to the main page. This is because my client dousn't want to throw to much information to the visitor.

Stragegy 2
Having 1 big website, where all different subjects are pages. The structure becomes like this:
Company name.com/subject1
Company name.com/subject2
Etc..
Within each page create a different menu.

i think the plan or starategey 1 is much better than strategy 2 because the first one has more chance to rank in many keywords in search engines and look more professional

Why not use a subdomain for this purpose such as:

company.com
blog.company.com
forum.company.com
news.company.com etc

This is what I recommend. Your second option also seems reasonable and many use it already.

If you have main business then go with main domain name likes businessname.com

if you have another two small business under your main business, then create sub domains likes ::: small1.businessname.com , small2.businessname.com

if you have more section of services and you want to under main business..

then go with : businessname.com/service1
businessname.com/service2
