Google Glass now has a wink feature. This feature was added recently, and all you have to do is blink an eye. The glass wearers will be able to take photos hands free. Simple to use, the device will work when the user winks an eye. The image will be able to upload to youtube in a fast manner as well. The user will simply state "Glass, share with youtube", and it will automatically be uploaded.
Google has stated that in the near future, they believe that this technology will be able to be used no matter where the user is. Google feels that one day, everyone will be able to use this. An example they give is seeing a pair of shoes in a department store window. Wink at it and it will be shipped in the size you need to your door. Imagine being able to do more in your life without really putting much effort into it at all.
Google glasses were first shown last summer. Since this time there have been many updates to the google glasses. There are 8000 users that are testers for Google for this, but they had to pay the $1500 for the device to be shipped to them in order to use it.
Google is helping create a hands free future where you can get exactly what you want with little effort. Hopefully, this technology does not create more distractions from the important people and things in life as current technology (such as smart phones) do.
