    Traffic from search engines is targeted traffic so try focusing on SEO, rank some keywords and it would be helpful in increasing traffic of your website.

    Signature links are good to have, as well as blog commenting. Make a facebook page as well and tweet about it.

    Yes, this is also my suggestion. Promote your site in anywhere you can. My best bet is social media particularly Facebook. If you still don't have an account then create one and gather as many people for your network. Make relevant posts and to let them know about you, react to their posts. After a month of being visible in Facebook, you can then promote your website to your friends and hopefully you will get a positive reaction from them.

    Rank your keywords on first page of google get it on top of google ...5 keywords get them on top 5 of google then you will get lot of traffic to your website..

    Give people a reason to want to visit your site, for instance, checklists or how-to's/tutorials for your niche. These things will keep people coming to your site. Then go out onto other niche forums that are similar in niche to your site and leave a quality comment(s) along with signature link. The combination will not only get one time traffic, but repeat visitors.

    these days more than trffic increas social sites like as facebook, twitter, linked in, google+, myspace etc and you work in all social sites increasing like, add friend, commenting, comment sharing.and after some time more than visitor your sites.

    Blog commenting would get your far. Find blogs that are the same niche as yours and refer back to your site. Make only good comments though.
