    Social media can help in the promotion of almost everything. Generally speaking, you cannot promote pornography, weapons, drugs and other illegal stuff on social media, however, I have seen people do this. maybe they are doing this illegally and would be banned once they are found out by the site admin.
    Social media is a good platform to promote real estate business. Create accounts on various social media sites such as facebook, twitter, linked in ,google plus, instagram, pinterest. Build followers and the start promoting your projects.

    The way it looks, social media can be used to promote anything that is legal and legitimate, be it product or services. I am predicting that in a few years time, businesses will focused on social media regarding their marketing since people are in social media. Right now, it is starting to show that Facebook posts are getting less personal and more of business. Perhaps you can see on your timeline the posts of your friends that 2% to 5% are all about business.

    Yes, of course it will help real estate companies in this way. Using the social media nowadays are very powerful, it does not only entertain people by posting whatever they want to tell, sharing stuffs like videos and posts, reacting to other people's posts, etc., but it also help users to advertise their business because there are still a lot of potential customers/clients in the social media world where in fact almost all people have social media accounts and they use it every day.
