Should I buy Facebook ad to offer my services?

Hello,
I'm going to buy Facebook ad to promote posts on my internet marketing forum but I don't know it's effective or not. Anyone tried this please share any ideas

It can be very effective depending how you setup the campaigns targeting. There are a couple of neat tricks I've learned along the way. I usually run international campaigns for generating likes and more targeted campaigns for sales and sign ups.

Best way to lower your CPM is to build a Fan Page for your site and run the campaign for your Fan Page. Then direct the traffic to your forum by posting links on your wall and possibly iframing pages in the App tabs. Set up a fan gate and watch the magic un fold. Plus, you want to jump on that soon because they are getting rid of the fan gate.

I agree with eric. Setup a fan page first. If you don’t have a lot of page fans, you should still run a “like” campaign. When you're planning to promote through facebook ads, you need to Learn how to structure your Facebook campaigns first. Like organizing your targetting,Budget and schedule.
