It is simply Basic Input Output system which means that what you give in to the computer system is what it is going to give you back. So, that is a sign that it is simply a machine under our control.

This discussion reminds me of the olden days when the PC is not even pentium yet. One of the computers in our office has always a problem with the BIOS that it sometimes couldn’t read the input from the floppy disk. The error is BIOS. And the technician found out that the plug of the drive is loose. Anyway, BIOS stands for basic input output system which concerns the devices of the computer.
