How to improve Alexa rank??

Clamming your site on Alexa.com provide a better control on you site many blogger have seen a sudden increase in the Alexa ranking . I experimented over a new claims 1 month ranked around 18million but after clamming my site the result was amazing . the result went to 10million.

Update your blog regularly
Alexa ranking is not totally dependent upon traffic, it is not the only factor to determine the Alexa rank. people have issue with Alexa rank . they belive it is not reliable and accurate.but in my view Alexa rank is not dependent on only one factor. One can write unique content and update it regularly. One or two blog post per day is enough to rank higher irrespective of how much your site gets traffic.

Install Alexa toolbar extension in your browser
This is the most effective way to increase your Alexa rank and in my suggestion you better start doing this. Install the Alexa toolbar extension for your browser and recommend yur friends to install the same on their browser. Alexa toolbar system tracks the visitors which goes through their system. For every visit it send data to the alexa system. Working on your own blog also counts. So, this is the up most step for improving your Alexa rank.

Putting Alexa Widgets on your website
Putting alexa widgets on your website encourages them to click it and review your website. Every time a visitor clicks it and review your website you get benefits. Alexa rating and reviews are also signal of trust. Hence, these are beneficial for increasing your rank.

I agree that traffic is the main criterion of Alexa. So in order to increase the Alexa ranking, you need to get more traffic. And getting more traffic will bring us to the issue of contents. Uploading fresh contents regularly will help the website get more traffic because there is something to read and the search engine can also help in giving traffic with the searchers who use the search list. Lastly, promoting the website is a good idea for guaranteed traffic.

I don’t have much idea on this but it is believed that whose website is related to blogging, SEO, online money rank higher compared to other blogger. It is because these niche website generally drives traffic from the blogger who want to increse their traffic. They may have already installed Alexa plugin. Thus this method will improve your Alexa ranking.

The reason why SEO/IM related sites get a better ranking is because the visitors to them are more likely to have the Alexa toolbar installed, as no one outside the IM world even knows what ALEXA is or cares at all. Most internet users who just use their computer for playing games, checking email, Facebook, etc, have never even heard of Alexa and have no idea what it is, so they obviously wouldn't have the toolbar installed. Only webmasters care about it.

This reveals the tragic flaw in how Alexa measures rankings, as an internet marketing related site with only 50 visitors a day will have a BETTER Alexa rank than a general interest site with over 500 visitors per day. I've seen it all the time for years in my own stats.

That's one of the serious reasons why Alexa is pretty much useless and an outdated dinosaur that people need to forget about, just like DMOZ and PR. They are irrelevant to today's IM'ers.

As long as your website is getting traffic and MAKING MONEY for you, then that's all you need to be concerned about. I'd rather have a good affiliate site with a kickass landing page making sales everyday then worry about how it's ranking among a bunch of other sites not earning anything. It's the MONEY that matters when creating revenue generating websites, and that can easily be earned with a website having a crappy Alexa rank over one with a better rank but not monetized properly.

You just need to increase the traffic of your website by doing continues unique content updates and sharing it on social media, also perform blog comments and bookmarking task in a very high range of relative domains. Alexa will automatically improve when traffic boast.
