A virtual employee is when you outsource your work to someone by hiring him to do your work. For example, you are promoting your website every day and the chore of posting in social media and other websites takes you the whole day. You can hire a virtual employee to do that job for you so you can do other work. It is called a virtual employee because you can hire him even without meeting him personally.
