    Finding success as a freelancer

    There is an old saying that goes, "You will never work a day in your life, if you love what you are doing." Whatever you love with a passion is what you should be doing for freelance work as it will bring you joy and financial freedom. And, for me that happens to be writing and for someone else it could be web design.

    Whenever I'm writing, whether a forum post or blog or copywriting for a site, it doesn't feel like work.

    But, if I choose an activity that I don't really like to do, the day seems to drag on forever.

    So just find what you love and specialize in that and the money and success (along with the happy customers) will follow.

    Share a valuable success tip for freelancers in any niche.

    My success tip would be to treat freelancing like a business and always keep promoting. Don't assume your success today will last without constant promotion as sometimes even your best repeat clients will find someone new to work for them. That's why you should always be adding new clients to your list so that when older clients stop buying, you don't lose income.

    Some people are really lucky to be able to do something they love and still get paid for it. And, it might take you awhile to find that one thing whi9ch you love doing that also pays well.

    I fully agree with that saying that's why I have defined my passion. Blogging about my pets brings me joy and pride in showcasing my dogs. Yeah, writing articles about them is like a leisure and I never felt like working. And I believe that I can do better as time passes by. I subscribe to the concept that its not all money when it comes to being successful.

    First of all, you should define what success is. If a freelancer earns enough money through freelancing, will you consider him successful? Do you consider a freelancer successful if he does not earn enough but has a good portfolio (for example he has worked for a big brand). Perhaps, success is a combination of both, the freelancer must be earning good, must have reserve funds for the rainy days, as well as must have done jobs for big companies.
