Rank Freelancers with Response time and Feedback

Hello admin, I have been a keen Visitor of the freelancer section. All the time when I see, there are lot of Sellers who have response time more than a day are ranked in the top. I guess, based on the recommendations he earned the ranking is done. One thing I want to tell about it -

The Seller may get a lot of Positive Feedback for what he is doing if it is upto the mark or the Buyer is not frustrated with it. It is not uncommon to get lot of recommendations if the seller is earning a lot of feedbacks, what I'm saying is a lot of reputations will make them[buyers] do so. My Question is: "What's the point in it when the Seller is good at something and earned a Rank and not responding to the messages/orders in time ?? In that case the Buyer has to wait a lot of time to open the conversation, so he will feel that the Seller is a normal like others, doesn't matter even he is Top Rated.

So, my opinion is that all the ranking should be done keeping in mind the Response time and the feedback as well. Final thing, based on the performance of the Level X Sellers, at the end of the week he/she can be awarded with some 3 categories viz "Rising Star, Sparkling Star, All Stars" [Im not good at naming] like that. It may be helpful for Buyers to identify the active ones and will boost up the efficiency of the Level X Sellers.

sorry..
Because Response time will different because of process to complete the job and also expected delivery!
such as seller just selling about Social Media followers/likes VS Seller who selling SEO Service.

@Lukas No, Response time purely depends on the time taken to respond to messages or Order status. Expected delivery is the estimated time to deliver the job. The Exact time taken to complete the job for different sellers will go under Average time. As the time varies with jobs, it is taken as Average time. Check the attachment. Delivery time has nothing to do with the Response time.

@Lukas. Thats ok. Its your opinion. I just see there are many sellers who have response time even greater than 3 days !! That's why I quoted this suggestion.

If there's a good way of including these along with the recommendations a seller has to being ranked, I'd go for it. I think it's a good idea.

Sellers who's got a high response time (if they care about the freelancer list) is most likely going to put in some extra effort to still rank high on the freelancer list, and sellers who's active and has a low response time will rank higher, which could lead to more sales for those sellers. In my opinion, this will benefit SEOClerks even more, since the potential of gaining sales increase for each sellers. (Even those without or with just a few recommendations.)

It's kind of funny to see a seller with an average response time of 3 or even 4 days when that same seller has a delivery time of 24-48 hours stated within the listed services.. As a freelancer, you should answer messages and reply to the orders as soon as you can, in my opinion anyway. I know for a fact, that TONS of sellers doesn't do that. They might be responding to their messages but they don't update the order page when they get new orders. They are just trying to deliver it as fast as they can and mark the order as delivered, so it won't affect their delivery time but, that obviously affects their response time instead..

Like I said above. If there's a way of including these things along with the recommendations to decide a freelancers rank on the freelancer list, I'd go for it. Good idea.

I like the idea of the star system, but it would be pointless for Level X Sellers. They're level X for a very good reason. They're reliable, and trustworthy sellers, which in turn means that they would probably end up getting the stars anyways just because of their skill and experience.

I think the way it displays currently works best. Recommendations are something that the buyer has to go to the extra effort to leave you, unlike feedback where they can just click a button or throw in a little "thanks" buyers must actually take the time to think of something that hits 30 words. If a buyer is taking the time to do this then it speaks to the Seller more than the initial response time to an order.

Response time although great to be within the few hours range like some, it's just not even a possibility for many other great sellers whilst at the same time it's very possibly that terrible sellers can have a super fast response time.
