    I want to lose followers!

    Hello,

    Last year i bought 5k twitter followers, but i want them to unfollow me cause i just want people i know to follow me, is this possible or will they keep following me for ever?

    It's very uncommon question and it can't be done, or it's not so easy. Depend which kind of followers you received. If it's real people, then only way is if every one of them separately unfollow you. You may tweet that request on your profile or keep contacting them with request to unfollow you. Still very hard and long process to do. In other hand if these followers accounts are owned buy your seller, it may be easier to contact your seller and ask to unfollow you, so you can start building your followers audience as you really wish.

    You are right with the unfollow request because you cannot do it by the bundle. You have to manually send request to be unfollowed to all those undesired followers. But if we are talking of 5,000 followers then that is a gargantuan task to do that I guess it is better to create a new Twitter account and gather your real friends. That is easier than doing the manual work for the individual request to unfollow.
