    Do you think that the guy wanted to use advertisement in promoting his site? Maybe we got the question wrong because I think he means another thing with that promotion with Google simply because Google is a search engine and not a marketing venue for promotion. In other words he might be thinking of Google Plus or another product of Google. But whatever it is I guess we need some clarification on the subject.

    When you say promote in Google, I am assuming that you mean SEO. You can increase your SEO chances with Google if you post contents to your website regularly. And the content should be original and unique and also has substance which means it has something to share. Google gives a point to good contents that will certainly increase your website’s ranking on the search list result.
