Hey SEOClerks team, I hope someone can help me here...
I have a piece of software that I put together some time ago and currently sell outside of SEOC. The software is available in two different versions..a free version that comes with ads (the Setup file is binded with the ad network RevenYou) and a paid version which costs $5 and does not have ads.
I'm looking to list the Paid version on SEOC so users can buy it for $5 and not have the ads binded to the Setup file. Is this possible? Or am I unable to list it since there is a free option available?

No, I didn't read that any where, previously I tried to sell a software, but it was rejected by SeoClerks. It happens with my friends also.

Do the SEOClerks TOS forbid a new seller from selling software? I have not read this before. Can you post a link to the place where you read this?
You will have to provide your what proves you are the owner of the software by providing the rights that you have to sell the software.

Can you be more detailed as to the specific reason(s) given about why they would not let you sell that software?
After few days past, I had no news of the submission and I contacted support. When I continued asked them what kind of proofs do they want as I'm really innocent, I can provide anything they want but they became silence. :mad:

They provided you with very detailed reasons as to why the software was not allowed. So it's not like they did not give you any reasons.
All software submitted undergoes review before being allowed on SEOClerks and this is to prevent copyright infringement issues for the site.
Every SEOClerks member submitting software would need to abide by these guidelines mentioned here, not just new members. And, if the proof you submit is insufficient to prove you have resale rights (even if you were told by the person who sold you the software that it was), then they will not allow you to offer it.
The third explanation, 'similar to an existing software' is most likely reason the software was not allowed. So even if you submitted more proof that you have resale rights, it still will not affect the decision.
Letting ten people sell the exact same software on SEOClerks would only create a bidding war where everything was being offered at $1.00 and then there is no profit for the site on those orders.

What type of documentation or proof did you receive from the seller that shows you have resale rights? This is the documentation that you would provide to them. For instance, did you receive a pdf document stating your resale rights?Nope.

Maybe you will have better luck trying to sell another software here. I can only speak as to resale rights products that I have purchased in the past. For instance, when purchasing an ebook that has resale rights, it will usually state inside the ebook 'You now have resale rights' and then give a detailed description of how/when/where you may resell the ebook/product. Sometimes the resale rights notice is contained in a pdf document that is created and signed by the creator of the ebook or info product. Have you tried purchasing private label rights software and then branding it with your own name? I am not sure if this would be acceptable, but the point of private label rights is that you can change it to claim it as your own.The software doesn't have any copyrights or trademarks.

Why would it be impossible? The previous owner may have resold it to other people. For example, there is a well-known scammer who has been banned from several webmaster forums for selling "exclusive" rights to scripts and software to ONE person as the sole owner, and then he resells it to someone else later. It's a common scam.If so, then it isn't buyer's responsibility since the seller is the scammer.

If you are selling it on an open marketplace, like SEOclerks, then it IS the your responsibilty to prove you have the rights to sell it. If someone else is selling the same software that you both bought from a scammer then you're out of luck, as you don't have exclusive rights to it here.Then I'll report the gig too and let both the current seller and me not able to sell the software.

I don't have experience with purchasing software for resale online. Can you tell me what type of proof the seller should be giving to the buyer so he has rights to sell it? For instance, if I were to buy a software, what proof would I need to say that I can resale it? I have checked Google on this question extensively and can't find an answer. Your help is appreciated.
