    How do you track your website traffic to know where they are coming from? What type of website analytic tool do you use for traffic tracking?

    The best website analytics are available through Google Webmaster Tools. Though you can use some very unsophisticated traffic counters on your site if you just want to know how many hits you are getting.

    Google analytic is best. Every webmaster should use it or any other analytic . It help us to know our website stats ,visitors, countries, browsers, monthly visits.
    Also if you want to sell ads you must have traffic stats to give stats to advertiser..

    I use Google Analytics myself as I feel that is the best however I have been known to use Awstats in the cPanel on the odd occasion which I also think is a good tool for tracking visitors.
