As you might know, there are numerous blog software to choose from. And, most people only pick Wordpress. But can your choice of blog software or CMS actually affect whether or not you rank in Google search?

No, I don't believe that your choice of blog software will affect your SEO, many people have different preferences when it comes to software that they use and choose the one they feel most comfortable with using. I believe that many people choose wordpress because it's easy to use and has a great, professional layout, not because it works better when it comes to SEO.

The CMS you choose does not have anything to do with SEO. Whether you are using wordpress, blogspot, weebly or any other platform, google will treat your website equally. The main point is having high quality content. You need good contents to gain trust from Google and other search engines.
SEO is related to keyword usage, quality backlinks, site design and site loading speed.
