Are there any known security breaches in Wordpress?

Have there been any security breaches uncovered in the Wordpress software recently that would expose a blog to risk? What type of patches are available?

Wordpress is one of the most often hacked type software. That's very unfortunate considering how good Wordpress is for blogging.

The only thing you can do is simply create a really good password for your admin panel to avoid being hacked.

Also, you can host your Wordpress blog with a hosting site that has a very good firewall.

This should protect your blog against hacking.

You just have to be careful;l with the way you create your password for that is the determinants if your WordPress is going to be hacked or not. Always make it strong for future need.
