    Just don't visit other similar forums or else you may find yourself accidentally copying those forums onto your own forum. Keep your distance from other similar forums and you will be able to maintain your own distinct voice.

    With a blog there is always risk that you will end up becoming a clone of a similar blog. However, with a forum there is no risk of becoming a clone as all your content is generated by your members who are writing what they are thinking. That's true so long as they are not copying from other sites to yours.
