    What is your back up emergency plan for your forum?

    Do you have a back up emergency plan for your forum, just in case your forum databases are corrupted or your forum is hacked? What if division in the forum community causes your forum to split up and fail? What would you do?

    My back up plan is to repurpose my existing forum and change the focus to another niche topic that I'm more into now. As for databases, that's what daily back ups are for.

    You could always shut your forum down, rather than continuing to run a dead forum.

    You don't want to waste money on a forum that isn't earning money anymore or doesn't have a thriving membership base.

    Most people will tell you that you should just start over with your forum in the event of a disaster. But, sometimes you might love the forum community so much that you don't want to move on. In those situations, you should work hard to save your forum.
