    What's the most often used forum software?

    Xenforo seems to be a very popular and often used forum software, but just as many free MyBB forums around too. Which forum software do you think is used most often? Or, which software is most likely to be upgraded from?

    Xenforo is the only forum software I will use now as it's reliable and safe and nearly bug free. I like the customization options in the admin panel. You have to use it to love it.

    Xenforo for paid software and MyBB for free software. Though I still have yet to open my own MyBB based forum and am still using SMF. I keep telling myself that one of these days I will take the plunge and haven't found the time yet.

    Though I still see lots of forums on the vBulletin forum software. Some people say that it has gone down in quality with more recent versions but many forum owners are sticking with that rather than jumping to Xenforo.

    I am not sure about this, how ever, based on the installed data and reviews, I believe MyBB is the most used forum software. It is an open source forum software. After MyBB, PhpBB is another popular forum software, this is also a free forum software.
