    How many sticky posts do you allow on each subforum?

    On my forum, we don't have many sticky posts per subforums, so that all new discussions can be seen easily without having to scroll down. But it varies for every forum. How many stick posts do you allow on each subforum? What is the criteria you would use to determine if a post should be made into a sticky post? And, when do you unstick the posts?

    Three or four sticky posts should be enough for any single subforum. More than that and you will have to scroll a lot to get to any of the regular non-sticky posts.
