Are there any real differences between the job of a coder and programmer? Obviously, both work with languages. But is there a specific reason for the various names or do both coder and programmer do the same job? And, what about a software developer? They design software, so that's a type of programmer, a sub-category. The software developer uses their knowledge of language for a specific output, a specific end-goal. Any other specific applications for coding/programming languages; any specific output, other than software that is considered the end-product?

Have built in many drag and drop options to speed up process of building applications and it's very useful tool. At the end, software looking very simple for users, but it's still large work behind the scenes to program it.
Well i am not using traditional coding any more to code whole software. You need more programming skills to plan what you want to achieve but it's easy to make some simple applications. However it's not cheap to buy so it maybe doesn't worth it to produce only simplest applications but it's awesome tool and i like playing with that and exploring new possibilities all the time.
I have seen some complete newbies using it without knowing any coding and since it's drag and drop software, i guess your imagination is limit :) You need more programming skills to plan what you want to achieve but it's easy to make some simple applications. Programming and specially coding are fields where you always have something new to learn, so it's like never ending study. I guess it's better when you know something about about coding and programming too, because it gives you more ideas about new projects and how to put them together.

I always try to do my best. Yes, it was really a great experience , but as any other business has it's own , 'bad' and 'wonderful' days. But i'm grateful that i had a chance to own a computer shop.

It was enough to keep me going until i saved enough money to buy a laptop the next year. I'm not very sophisticated with the repairs, most times if i open up the PC case, it doesn't ever go back on right and things are hanging out everywhere. The last time I had to fix my computer, my hard drive was literally hanging out and propped up to keep it from falling out and my kitten kept trying to climb into the open case (under my desk) because it was warm and would step into the cooling fan. :/
Yeah, that's really neat to hear you own a computer service shop. What type of work are you doing there? I am not computer expert or computer repair person, by any means, mostly just an 'end user' of software and computers. Though I have owned many lovely Franken-puters, behemoths that I cobbled together from bits and pieces of old computers, anything to keep working over the years, when i didn't have money for a new computer. About three years ago, i received a really old XP computer as a gift and the thing ran like a warhorse for three months, before the 'new' graphics card that I'd paid to have installed konked out on me. And the computer would only run on safe mode and you know how bad the graphics are like that - yes i even played an MMORPG game in safe mode, it was hideous looking. And a friend of mine that I met through that specific game team viewer fixed my graphics to put them to on board graphics and he did a lot of really expensive repair work for me - and just basically helped me get back online so I could work again. I owe so much to that person, though I think he only did it to see if it was possible. I learned a lot from him about doing little computer repairs to keep going. And, then two years ago, just before Christmas, my computer stopped working and i didn't have money for a new one and i spent about two weeks going out to the library to do my writing jobs. I had customers depending on me and I didn't want to let anyone down. And, I contracted bronchitis from the cold and rain and could not go out anymore and was falling behind on my work. And I thought it was the end, tbh. I had no options, but one day i was sitting on the floor and looking inside my old junked up computer and thinking about what I could do and instantly I knew how to install a Hard Drive to fix it. It just fell into place how to do it. I guess i must have read somewhere how this was possible years ago because the info was in my head. I had four old HD in the house, so i didn't have to buy anything. So i opened up one of my old computers (it had a working HD but the graphics card was gone, would boot but no picture) and got the HD and installed into that one. It was amazing, I was back online and working again! I don't think there is any difference. They are just two different names. For example, an elephant can be called an elephant, but it can also be called an animal or even a mammal as well. So a coder, is someone that "codes" and a programmer is someone that "programs". But both coding and programming are almost identical things. They both involve programming code. Or coding a program (vice-a-versa).
You could say, "I need to hire a coder to fix this for me" but that could mean fixing anything from some HTML or PHP code to finding an fixing some problem or bug in some software program. But you could also say "I need to hire a programmer to fix this program for me". So generally, a coder is someone that deals with both programming and markup languages like HTML/PHP or even a programming language. But a programmer is someone that deals with the code of programs or apps like C++, Ruby, etc etc.
So if you wanted to be "politically correct" when needing someone to fix some issues on your website, you would need to say "I need to hire a coder" but you wouldn't say the same thing about hiring someone to fix some bugs in your software because it's a different language. It's a "programming" language, so you would say "I need to hire a programmer".
But the two are so completely intertwined together that using either lingo of coder or programmer means the same thing to most people. You just wouldn't want to advertise that you need a programmer to fix your websites code (HTML/PHP etc) and you could advertise for a coder to fix your software though.
So then, a coder is someone that can also be a programmer. And a programmer is someone that also can be a coder. Since "code" is the word used to describe lines of code and both markup and programming languages deal with lines of code.
I really hope that answers more questions than it asks but that is my general take on it! :)

I was involved in some projects as freelance coder to work for some programmers who don't even want to tell you what they programming because they want to keep their idea in secret before it's completed. For example i was hired to code some PHP files which should communicate with MySql database and i was told what results i have to pull out and how to display them in HTML. While some other coders were hired to do similar things for different operations on same project. Programmer who hired us all didn't know coding to make all project live and working but also protected his idea by hiring few different coders... So this is another scenario that could happen and divide programmers from coders, but yes, it's true that in other case it can be same person or same thing...
