Need some to copy a calculating program for my website. It should be able calculate 5 to 8 variables to make custom jewelry. If you are interested I will show you a couple of the websites that use this special type of calculator and you can tell me if you can duplicate or make something that does the same things.
I want only to concentrate on creating the engine that builds the prices on a piece of jewelry.
I want to keep this as a separate module that can be placed on other sites.
1. 3 prices of gold 10kt, 14kt, 18kt. White, yellow and Rose gold are the same price in each Karat.
We place the price per gram for 14kt, then 18kt, and 10Kt. and one price per gram for platinum.
Also, if we this must be tied to all pieces. Thus when we change the price of 14kt 10kt,18kt gold or platinum every ring or piece of jewelry should automatically change too. We need to be able to place what the weight in grams of the piece of jewelry is and then calculate what the weight of the piece will be if it is 10kt, 14kt, 18kt and platinum. I always know the weight of 14kt and from there we can calculate the others. If 14kt is 10 grams then 10kt is 8.9grams and 18kt is 11.7 grams and platinum is 16.6 grams. There for as an example 14kt is $35.00 a gram then the gold cost of the ring is $350.00. The prices of 10kt, and 18kt and platinum need to be able to be filled in and thus can generate a total metal cost.
2. There needs to be a Total Carat Weight. This is the total diamond weight for different sizes of the ring. Each total weight will have a new amount of diamonds each of the 4 size of diamonds.
For example one ring could be made in .25ct, .50ct, .75ct, 1.05ct , 1.55ct, etc, etc.
3. Side Diamond Qualities. 5 diamond qualities. Each one of these qualities should have 4 different levels in each one.
For example one of the diamond qualities is SI1 F-G Color and has 4 different sizes and each size has it own price. The sizes are and an example of the prices is included A. .005-.05 is $500 per carat.B. .05ct to .11ct.is $550 per carat. C. .11ct-. 18ct.is $600per carat D. .19 -.29ct.is $750per carat.diamonds. A ring with the SI1 F-G quality might have .07cts of A and .44ct of B. and 1.23ct of C and .75cts of D.
4. Lastly I need to have the ability of pick the diamonds that are to be used as the center diamond. Not every diamond listed can fit into the center of the wedding set. Thus we need to come up with a way to make sure that when we calculate the ring, we can see what diamonds will fit in the center so the buyer cannot make the mistake of picking the wrong diamond to go in a ring.. We can do this by the diameter of the diamond and using the tolerances that each ring will use.
You need to look how the calculator works and duplicate that. Then I can use that module to be placed in any website.
