Optimize:
-reduce the number of dom elements.
-Add expire headers.
-Problem with the cookie free domain but that is not a priority.
-Make fewer http requests.

Don't use a ton of plugins to optimize that's a no no.
Know how to reduce the number of dom elements without messing up the site.
So you need to know what you are doing and what it means.
If you know what you are doing ok.
100% on pagespeed and yslow is not possible i'm aware. Page speed needs to be better and less requests.
Also reduce the number of dom elements used and add expired headers.
Don't mess up the website, after the optimizing everything should work as before.
