Do you freelance online and make enough to support your life/family or do you also have a job that you go to every day? I freelance as a secondary source of income. I've actually made more freelancing that my actual job but am hesitant to quit because of job security (freelancing could die at any time, for multiple reasons).

Why? Because in freelancing i'm the boss of myself.
Freelancing is my main source of income, and it makes me feel free to work from everywhere in anytime .As a freelancer day by day i'm learning new things.
Nothing is 100% secure, but i have chosen freelancing instead of any other job :) Why? Because in freelancing i'm the boss of myself.

But we having more and more competition day by day, it's true and it's not easy job. However 80% of my paid jobs is freelancing online and i am managing it somehow. Sometime it's tight, but it's still OK. Never give up and always improve your quality work as you getting more experienced, so it will keep you going ;)

I've had plenty of freelance jobs doing web design, SEO, marketing, PPC management, email marketing, social media marketing and so much more.Are you sure you want to delete this post?
One more thing. Freelancing allows me to work from anywhere in the world if I'd like. I've never left the US to work, but I could if I wanted :D
I've definitely brought my laptop to a friends lake house and worked while everyone was asleep. I was on vacation and had some down time so I busted out my laptop and got some work done. I wasn't swamped with work on the next business day and it was great :)

I agree, but the only downside is that most people who are looking for work from home opportunities haven't put any time in with the companies they're applying to. I know a few people who have been with companies for years and have landed some nice stay at home jobs because they have gained trust by the employer.
So I would advise to work for a company that has work from opportunities, but work out of their office and after about 6 months apply for the stay at home job. Just make sure you DO NOT reduce your productivity! Reducing your productivity after you get the cozy stay at home position will only look bad and you could possibly be laid off and the placement will be given to someone else.
As for freelancers here on SeoClerks. Like said above, there are plenty of people here making full time income by providing a great service. I know I will always pay a little extra for a good service matched up with exceptional customer support because I know I'll be in good hands and I can always contact someone.
Freelancing isn't for everyone, and it's definitely not for the people who read a "How to get rich quick online" ebook. It takes time to build a great product, build a client list, and then profit. The great thing about SeoClerks is that it helps you with the second step of building a client list since there are thousands of people here looking for a service you are selling.
