Do I still get paid if I deliver the order late?

I just wanted to know if I still get paid if I deliver the order late. I had an order which I delivered a day later than the deadline.

If the buyer accept your delivery after you mark it as finished you will be paid. In any case you can contact buyer and let him know why is it late and ask for patience

There's almost no reason now for orders to be late since you can easily ask for a time extension from your buyer. Though, as indicated before you will get paid, so long as the order completes, even if it were in a late state.

When someone buys a service from you, you need to make it a point to stick to the deadline. After all when you created the service you got to choose how many days you were going to allocate to complete an order placed on that service. Sticking to deadlines will help you retain a good reputation and buyers will be aware of this. In case for some reason you feel that you are not going to be able to submit the work within the deadline, there is the option to request for more time. This has to be approved by the buyer. Having said that, if the order is completed as the buyer decides to accept it despite the lateness, you will still get paid.
