How do you use a backlink?

Hello,

How do I use Backlinks that have been built?? I see many people using Link Building techniques, though I am not sure how to use them for ranking purpose. Can some one clarify this for me? I understand that backlinks helps a website to rank better, however I am so confused about it.

backlinks are links/channels that links to your site from another site. google rank your site much better when it notices a good number of backlinks from high quality websites like linkedn,Facebook,yahoo,cnn etc.you can create backlinks to your site from high-quality websites using different methods like blog commenting, social bookmarking,pinging etc.

Hope you knows about Crawler well. Backlinks help while crawler searches new websites OR new contents.
It provide a path to go through your website / webpage.

The more backlinks your have, more crawler will reach at your website which increase reputation in search engine's eye.

Backlinks have values in search engines because they are part of the algorithm. When your site has quality backlinks then they positively affect the ranking in search engines. Quality backlinks are your site’s links that are posted in popular forums, blogs and even social media. Aside from getting traffic from the search list, backlinks also get traffic when readers would click on it.
