    Is social Bookmarking still effective for SEO?

    I just want to clear my self is social bookmarking still help to improve ranking? Still many people doing social bookmarking and i saw they getting result. but i want SEO expert suggestion about social bookmarking. Because its easy to fing good page rank social bookmarking sites and submit your link there.

    it is still very much effective and produces good quality backlinks to your sites, just submit to high quality high page rank bookmarking websites manually to get high SERP rankings.

    Sure yes, it is still highly effective and sure will always be. Many social sites are of High PR, and when google noticed your website sharing on them, they see your webbsite as relevant and as thus, will make them to rank you high and high. But dont spam

    I guess social bookmarking will not be obsolete when it comes to SEO because the social signals are recognized by search engines as I had read in several discussions. In another forum, there was a comment that said posting of backlinks in social media is very effective when it comes to SEO because search engines probably know that social media is one huge venue of people who can see the backlink that was posted.
