What does it mean OBL?

What does it mean OBL? I saw this expression in many gigs, high OBL, low OBL.. Please explain

OBL means "outbound links".
The number of external links on a page.
The lower the OBL, the better it is.

Make sure you always keep an eye on OBL if there is no discussion about it chances are the gig is not trustworthy / worth your time.

OBL (Out Bound Links) can be a way of seeing whether a website or webpage is a good place to have a link on or not. Generally, sites or webpages that have too many OBL on them are usually spammed so you wouldn't want to put your links there. Even if they wasn't spammed but still had too many OBL on them you still really wouldn't want your links on them because you wouldn't get much link juice or traffic or crawls if you did because it would be shared and divided amongst all the other links on that page and that's even if your link is at the top of the page or in a prominent place upon it and it isn't no follow. In some cases though, it can still be viable to get a link on that site or webpage even if it does have a lot of OBL on it. This would be where the site was a very high authority site and was a related site to yours as well and the link was a do follow link. In that case, it could be still worth getting a link there but maybe not for your money site.
