    If i pay for a gig from my paypal balance is the transaction instant? ie: is the order eligible to have work started on it by the seller immediately or does the order take a while to complete?

    The transaction is instant, so the buyer should start work as soon as possible. They will then have a certain amount of days to complete the gig.

    No. You still have to wait for the seller to respond to your order. Nevertheless, it was an Instant Download.
