SEO Careers during a Recession makes a big difference if you work for a company or you. Being an employee has always been a more vulnerable position, so if you expect job security, this is easier to achieve when you an independent SEO contractor.

When there is a recession I think every industry is affected. SEO work is directly related to traffic which is about the revenue of a website that is largely dependent on advertising. And we all know that advertising is brought about by the economy that when there is a slump then advertising is negatively affected. In other words, the SEO industry will also suffer during a recession. Correct me if you think otherwise.
