What is effective seo for yahoo and bing?

I am wondering what are the most effective seo techniques with yahoo and bing and increasing visiblity with my own personal website? Are there certain backllinks that are more effective than others or any websites that you would reccomend for me to use? Does yahoo and bing have certain links that will harm your site as well?

I have found it easier to rank on Bing and Yahoo as they are less stringent in their disciplines...so, follow a Google-safe backlinking plan and your Bing and Yahoo SERPs will soar!

Maybe you are right with the higher ranking that your website gets in Yahoo and Bing over Google. But you have to take into consideration the number of searchers of Google. It is the number 1 in search engine race for the most traffic that it gets. And the SEO work that we do will be applicable not only to Bing and Yahoo but also to Google. My point is not to be specific with search engines.

I agree with southsidesmoka, on-point with everything he said.
I will add that I don't believe Yahoo & Bing will add backlinks that will harm your site since they are very trusted search engines/sites and they wouldn't want their reputation tarnished by something like that.

so most effective seo is to make autoritable website with great ccontent!
but content is not everything! you must build backlinks!
make web 2.0 social bookmarks and other.
but the most effective is edu and gov backlinsk for seo
