    I want to buy a top level domain for my website. Can anyone tell me how much does it cost and where can I get one?

    I want a .com for my website.

    There are many extensions for website creation..
    Some percent of Cost is totally depends on extensions which you choose..
    Extensions i seen- .com
    .tv
    .net
    .in
    .co.uk
    .pk
    .hk
    .mobi
    .org etc...
    My advice to you nowadays .com is most popular extention please use it...

    And cost for website creation depends upon service provvider & designer of your website...
    Or for free website you may logon to weebly.com....webs.com etc..

    The cost for a domain name and hosting depends on the service provider you choose. You can choose to design the website on your own from there which will cost nothing or choose to hire someone to design it for you which will add to the cost of building the website.

    Mostly a domain costs $12.99* that is nearly thirteen dollars and you can transfer the domain by the web hosting company the first domain is free but they charge you for later domain transfer. So it is better to but the domain from the company where you have taken web hosting.

    I suggest you to start with a common .com domain, available for a couple of dollars the first year. Just google and search for "GoDaddy Promo Domain" with private protection.

    How much you have to pay for a domain name depends on what type of extension you are using and what company you are resigerting on.
    A dot come costs around $10, however, you have to pay around $32 for dot io. You can get xyz or club domain for less than $1. When you register a domain using a promo code or register during promotional period you can buy for less than the actual price.
    Currently you can buy various domains at namecheap for $5 for the period of 5 years.
