    Affiliate marketing is a way of making money by promoting the products of another company for a commission on each sale he/she generates. Commission rates will vary, depending on the company and the product. Affiliate marketing has been around for MANY years and it's not going away anytime soon.

    Bizchannel hit the nail on the head! Affiliate marketing can be a very powerful beast that when tamed, can go on to help you retire early in life! There are many multi-millionaires because of affiliate marketing. There are also many people that make a residual income from it and those that make a little extra money from it to help with paying the bills!

    First it involves finding a product or service for sell that is in high demand. Then you will need to find an affiliate for that which you can join who will provide you with a unique affiliate link or tracking code you can use so that you get paid for any traffic and sales that come via that link. Your job as an affiliate marketer, would be to promote that link on the Internet in order to get that traffic to it. That could be done from your own site which you do SEO on and promote and market or via other ways of promoting and advertising which you can use your affiliate links on.

    The trick is to find a product or service that is in demand but that there isn't too much competition for. Especially if you're a newbie. Because the very in demand stuff usually has a lot of competition and you'll find it hard to compete. That's why it's good to get on new trends early as they happen and be one of the first sites that becomes and authority on that thing because those sites usually rank first for things related to it in Google and stay there as well. That's why you always have to try new things and try and tap into something.

    Affiliate Marketing is when you sign up on a site to become an affiliate marketer in which you would be given a personal link which you would post on the net. Whenever someone clicks your link and signs up or buys a product from the site then you'll get a pre arranged commission to be credited to your account.

    Affiliate Marketing sounds great and it looks very easy to earn from it but don't be fooled because a lot of affiliate programs are out there to scam people. You won't get paid correctly because you won't really know how many have used your link and that's a loophole that site owners and or their staff uses to scam affiliates.
