I'm quite good at SEO in that I know what is good SEO and what is bad SEO. I've been doing it for around 10+ years so I've learned a lot in that time. Mind you, I've also had to unlearn a lot of stuff as well as times have changed and what worked before doesn't work today like it used to. Mainly because of all the Algo updates at Google changing the way that SEO is done.

I've ranked some fairly big sites in many different niches, from furniture and hardware sites to software and computing sites to sites that provide services such as SEO / link building / social media management and marketing etc. What I find today is that it takes longer and more work to rank your site on the 1st page of Google's SERP's than it did before but that is due to all the updates.

I've had sites that have dominated the SERPs and ranked number #1 for years and sites that have floated near the bottom of first page results that I've managed to get ranking a bit higher with more work and time but it did take quite a fair bit of work on my behalf.

To be honest, I cannot say I am good at SEO albeit I am still in the learning stage. But I know that I can make a website get a pretty good ranking in the search list of Google or any other search engine. My best bet is the contents that is regularly uploaded and with substance. Of course, contents should be original and neatly crafted with no copied portion from other websites unless it is a cited part that you acknowledge the source. There are other SEO ways and means but I cannot elaborate on the keyword and the backlinks, not yet for now.
