What exactly is the algorithm for Youtube's search engine?

1) Do backlinks even matter? Do they raise your rankings?
2) If rankings are based on views and likes, can't anyone just buy a seoclerks gig to artificially raise their rankings in youtube?

1) yes they do and they rase your rankings , type in google any video game name and you will see that there will be at least 1 youtube link if not more, if the niche is popular than you will see a lot of youtube links
2) rankings are not based on likes and wies as google know that these can be faked, you can raise the rankings for any site assuming u have abudget for the campaign
3) the main question , if I know how exactly yt search engine algorithm worked I would be a werry rich man
