How to REALLY find a good deal?

I really want to get into the business of buying websites that make a few bucks a month and accumulating several of them but I can never pull the trigger. I'm always worried that the seller is lying about the income or the traffic sources or advertising costs, etc. How do you really tell if a website is worth buying?

yeah its very difficult to judge the website income or traffic sources, buts its not difficult, you will have to search the website niche, if the niche is worthy then you will go for website design, layout, ads placement(if there), payment modes(if product based),
after that you will have to check backlinkg of this website, then check social media presence. social media presense is most important now a days, you will have to know actually whats going on with this website.

How i buy websites online:
1. Check traffic and earning screenshots or live via teamviewer
2. Check websites alexa and keywords ranked in search engines
3. Ask the seller to verify me that the site really belongs to him/her.

Honestly I don't know. I know a friend who willing to buy website, but just to develop and improve the site, and after that, he will sell it again. That's how he earn from buying website. But in your case, I don't think if necessary to do that, much better to build your own website.
