    Can I use url shortener to cloak my affiliate link?

    How long expire time is the affiliate cookie when someone clicks the link?

    I've never seen anyone use a url shortner to cloak their affiliate link.

    The expiry date of the cookie will depend on the company, usually the private affiliates that require an invite etc offer a 6 month of one year expiry date and lifetime commission.

    That's according to you.i think there is no problem while cloacking links.The main reason for affiliate program is for getting leads.Here you will need to get buyers an sellers from your affiliate link.I suggest people like seoclerks URL than the short URL service URL's.And using seoclerks on affiliate link will increase your CTR.

    Yes, you can use a URL shortner for your link. If you refer a user here who signs up within 5 days of your referral, you earn 10% of their purchases for life. There is no limit or expiry date.

    I thought this is all about affiliate marketing. Anyway I am interested in affiliate marketing because my main line of paid forum posting is not profitable anymore in terms of labor and time. My plan is to create my own website where I can do my promotions for the products that I would be marketing. I hope that I can get more information from this site that can help me with that endeavor.

    Yes, you can cloak all your affiliate links and concerning to the cookie expire time here is what they say:

    We don't serve those panzy, 3 day expiring cookies that other affiliate programs give you. If you refer a member to us and that member makes a purchase today, tomorrow or 3 years from now you will get paid for it. You will get paid for EVERY Purchase they make until time stops.
