How can I select my profile pic instead of going to camera

Hi guys when i go to settings and click on my profile Image ans wants to change my profile Image ans when i click on select it goes to my camera. I don't want to select my profile Image from camera but wants to select the image from my gallery is there any option that i select my profile Image from gallery or any other area in my phone storage?

please help me

The explorer window opens for me when I click to change my profile avatar. I don't have the option to use camera. I did not know that option was available. Is this because you are using the mobile version of site?

Yeah I am using mobile version. How can I choose my profile pic on mobile without redirecting to camera

I logged in on my phone and confirmed that it goes to camera when you click 'select image' under profile picture option. Maybe this was intentional more than a bug. Or possibly an oversight. If intentional, then I wonder why the profile picture screen shows 'acceptable formats jpeg jpg gif,' etc. and select image. At least to me, select image means I have the option to pick an image from my phone rather than taking a photo.

Yep it's a bug and it must be fixed by the team because 90% people use mobile phones. I changed my pic using desktop.

Thanks, I've reported this issue to our team.

I can understand that a mobile user will want the same site experience as one using desktop.

You should not have to get on the desktop just to change an avatar, it seems like a bug as you said or possibly an oversight.
