    You may want to choose an IT developer that listens to your needs and turns those into actionable objectives. Also you should check out their projects or get information about completed projects. Does the person have references from previous customers they are willing to share?

    Though there is no straight answer to this question. The following will help you get a solution:

    1) Check if existing tools are available to solve the issue since there are tons of companies out there with dozens of tools to ensure business problems are solved

    2) If nothing like that is ready then go for the developer who has

    • Done such a project in past
    • Worked for a company that has done or created such a project
    • Is a full stack developer, just not stuck with either backend or front end.
    • Knows project management as if the project is big, he knows how to manage it well.
