What are you looking for in a content writer?

I have hired content writers a couple of time. Since I am always low on budget, I always look for writers who ask for a small fee. I have never paid more than $3.5 for 500 words article. Since my budget is low, I have never hired highly qualified writers who charge high. I am always looking for writers who are just starting out or writers from developing countries like India where the value of dollars is high.

That seems like a really cheap price. Are you happy with the quality? I rarely spend money on content as I can write about most topics. The most that i spent on content/article was $7.00 and still the quality was pretty low.

There is a saying- 'You get what you pay for,' and that's true for a bit. Yet, being a client, it's your preference, whether you go with high or low-quality content as per your budget. However, your smart strategy of hiring peoples who get more juice from a dollar than others is excellent.

Being a content writer, I can appreciate your approach. Indeed, $3.5 for 500 words article is not considered as much useful, when you need some top-notch contents. But it's adequate to provide a decent base article, that you can tweak and use as own.
