Is there a way to exchange articles mentions between writers?

Hi all,

I'm new to articles writing and I'm planning to start writing on several magazines.
I'm wondering if there is any way or method to exchange mentions in articles between writers to improve each other's PR and maybe gain some backlinks. It could be brand or personal mentions or anything that makes you get more visitors and/or prospects.

I think there must be a way to do that since it really improves us as writers and it also makes everyone happy, without breaking any rules.
It's a win-win deal.
