The reason you see marketing and sales teams using automated chatbots

Over the last few years, we've seen automated chatbots become a standard when talking about websites and what we need starting a website or online business. Many companies, big and small, have automated bots that will help customers along their path and hopefully turn them into a sale without having to talk with a real person. It's rare to come across a modern website that isn't using some sort of chat software that allows you to get a hold of someone right away.

Chatbots aren't as widespread, but they are becoming more popular as time goes on, and that's why I highly suggest you check them out, so you don't get left behind in your niche.

Below I'll talk about the various things an amazing automate chatbot can do for your website and sales

A wonderful welcome message
People landing on your website for the first time might not know how to navigate it, and an automated chat message can help them along their way. I like to put a page on my websites that explains who we are, what we do, and how to navigate around the site easily, so they aren't confused with anything. I've noticed that I get a lot fewer emails and tickets because my welcome message tells people certain pages that can help them out a ton

People always want to be welcomed when they attend lunch, dinner, an event, or even when they land on a website, so be sure to give them that welcoming message and hopefully your sales increase.

Quick and effective canned responses
One of the best features of an automated chatbot is that you can pair it with AI and canned responses. You can set your answers to be triggered with questions that have particular keywords, and these responses can help push visitors through your website.

You can lead them wherever you want, within reason, and they will be glad to chat with your chatbot because it's like a personal assistant for your website lol.

Lead them down the rabbit hole
The canned responses can help you answer questions that are coming in, or they can be used strategically to bring people through various pages that eventually land them on a product or service page. You can boost them up along the way, landing them on pitch pages, and eventually, you can get them to a product page where they will be more willing to purchase because you've already been doing the selling via automated chat lol.

Boost sales with less communication
One of the best things about an automated chat system is that you can boost your sales while not being online. You can go to sleep and let this chatbot work for you to seal the deal whenever someone has a question.

I haven't heard many people say "I love talking to potential customers" because it's not something to be loved. They tend to have a lot of questions, related and unrelated, and it takes up a massive amount of time. If you can install a chatbot to talk to all these people right away, you can boost your conversions and not have to talk to them as much lol.

Final thoughts,
If you're not using an automated chatbot on your website, you should be. If you are using a chatbot on your site, but you're not using canned responses, start configuring them so you can boost your sales and keep people going through your pages
